Conner Tharp is a consultant for the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area. She joined the team in early 2023 and just recently completed her Master’s degree at New Mexico State University, specializing in Public Health with a focus on Healthcare Management, Administration, and Policy. Since moving to Northern New Mexico in 2017, she has been immersed in both her studies and learning all she can about the local culture.

Outside of her academic commitments, Conner enjoys a variety of podcasts, getting lost in a good book, and taking leisurely (very slow) strolls with her chatty toddler and supportive husband.

Driven by a passion for improving healthcare systems, Conner is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in the field of Public Health through economic development and grassroots movements, with a particular focus on promoting equity and accessibility for all.
