Anna Hansen, Treasurer

Anna Hansen is a Public Member representing Santa Fe County and a former Santa Fe County Commissioner (District 2). A resident of New Mexico for over 50 years, she earned both her Master of Art and Bachelors of Fine Art degrees from UNM.

She is the Secretary and former President of the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA), and Chair of the Coalition of Sustainable Communities (CSC). She has been the former Chair of the following boards: Buckman Direct Diversion Board (BDD), Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency (SWMA), the Santa Fe County Housing Authority, and the Santa Fe County Audit. She served on the federal level the Vice Chair of the National Association of Counties’ (NACo) Arts and Culture Commission and Vice Chair of the Environment, Energy, and Land Use Steering Committee (EELU) and was elect as the President of the Women of NACO for 2023-2024
